Erin Siena Jobs was born in California, USA, on August 19, 1995. She is the daughter of Steve Jobs and his wife, Laurene Powell. Her mother, Laurene, is a prominent American businesswoman. 

She is known for founding the ‘Emerson Collective’ and co-founding and presiding over the ‘Board of College Track.’ An organization dedicated to preparing underprivileged high school students for college. 

Erin’s older brother, Reed, was born in September 1991, and her younger sister, Eve, arrived in May 1998. After years of denying paternity, a DNA test ultimately established Jobs as Lisa’s father. He later reconciled with Lisa and legally changed her name to Lisa Brennan-Jobs, as per her request. 

Tragically, Erin’s father passed away on October 5, 2011, due to respiratory failure. It was medically linked to a relapse of a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor diagnosed and treated in 2003. 

Following Steve Jobs’ death, Erin’s mother inherited the ‘Steven P. Jobs Trust.’ In Forbes’ 2016 list, Erin’s family was ranked 44th among the world’s billionaires. The list also recognized Erin’s mother, Laurene, as the wealthiest woman in the technology industry.

In 1976, he partnered with Steve Wozniak, and together they began conceptualizing a personal computer, which would later be known as the Apple I. Their vision led to the founding of Apple, to bring this computer to market.

 However, it wasn’t until the launch of the Apple II, a widely popular personal computer. Their next groundbreaking project was the Macintosh in 1984, a mouse-driven computer with a graphical user interface. 

They also had plans for the release of the first laser printer featuring vector graphics. A dispute with then-CEO John Sculley in 1985 resulted in Jobs being ousted from Apple. He went on to establish a new venture called NeXT, which ultimately contributed to the development of Pixar.

In 1997, Apple and NeXT merged, effectively saving Apple from bankruptcy. This merger led to the creation of a new generation of products, including the iPod, iMac, iPhone, iPad, and iTunes. 

However, being informed of a malignant tumor in his pancreas, he initially chose alternative medicine over conventional medical intervention. A year later, he reluctantly agreed to undergo surgery after experimenting with alternative therapies.  

Tragically, Steve Jobs passed away due to complications arising from the recurrence of his previously treated malignancy.
